Shipping
Shipping
Most Knot1 pieces are made to order. Production begins once your order and design details are confirmed, and shipping happens after that work is complete.
You’ll receive an order confirmation by email, and a shipping notification with tracking information once your piece is on its way.
Please double check your shipping address at checkout. Since production is built around your order, address changes are easiest to make before production begins, so contact us as soon as possible if something needs to change.
Have a delivery deadline, a wedding, an event, or a group order date? Mention it during your consultation or in your order notes so we can plan around it.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns & Exchanges
Because Knot1 pieces are custom made for your order, they are generally final sale once production begins. This keeps pricing fair and materials dedicated to your piece rather than held as general inventory.
If your order arrives with a defect, a manufacturing error, or damage from shipping, contact us as soon as you notice it with your order number and a few photos. We’ll work with you on a repair, a remake, or a refund, depending on the issue.
Questions about sizing before your order goes into production are always welcome. It is much easier to adjust a measurement before we begin than after, so reach out if anything about your fit feels uncertain.
Measurement Guide
Measurement Guide
A few key measurements help us build a piece that actually fits. Use a soft measuring tape, stand naturally, and take each measurement over a well fitted shirt.
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms and across your shoulder blades. Keep the tape level and snug, not tight.
Waist
Measure around your natural waistline, where you would normally wear your trousers, not necessarily where your navel sits.
Shoulders
Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other, across your back.
Sleeve Length
With your arm slightly bent, measure from the edge of your shoulder to your wrist bone.
Neck
Measure around the base of your neck where a collar would sit, adding a little room for comfort.
Inseam
Measure along the inside of your leg, from the crotch to the bottom of your ankle.
These measurements are a helpful starting point. Every Knot1 custom order includes a consultation where we confirm fit in detail, in person or by appointment, before production begins.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the custom ordering process work?
It starts with a consultation, in person or by appointment, where we talk through fabric, fit, and details. From there, your piece moves into production, and we keep you updated until it ships.
Do you take group and organization orders?
Yes. Knot1 works with fraternities, sororities, and other organizations on coordinated blazer orders. Mention your group size and event date when you reach out and we will walk you through the process.
What if I am not sure about my measurements?
That is what the consultation is for. We will confirm your fit together before your order goes into production, so you do not have to get every number exact on your own.
How should I care for my Knot1 piece?
Custom tailoring holds up best with proper care: dry clean rather than machine wash, store on a sturdy hanger, and give your garment a day to rest between wears when you can.
Can I make changes to my order after I place it?
If production has not started yet, we can usually accommodate changes. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and what you would like to adjust.
What is the difference between a custom suit and a blazer order?
Custom suits go through our full made to measure process from the ground up. Blazer orders, including group and organization pieces, follow a similar process focused specifically on the blazer.
